Yummy Goodness This Saturday!

Get excited because Yummy Summer Weekend is almost here!

And before you head on over to the South Campus Gateway next Saturday, July 31: we wanted to remind you of just a few things -

* The festivities start around 2 pm and continue til 9 pm - so bring your friends & your family and make a day of it!

* There will be all types of art & handmade goods for sale - so don't forget your wallet.

* Please bring a non-perishable food item or two and/or some cash to donate to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank at the Ohio Art League Gallery. There will also be a raffle and sale of 1" buttons to benefit the Foodbank.

* Live performances start at 3 pm with a number from Available Light Theatre. Then, you can enjoy the sounds of Maza Blaska, see an improv dance performance by Coco Lupe & friends, and check out an awesome free mystery/surprise movie at the Gateway Film Center (4pm).

* Receptions at OAL and ARTillery (The Shoebox) start at 6 pm, but you can check out the art any time before that.

A food-themed art show fundraiser for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate. There will also be a raffle basket of goodies to benefit the Foodbank.

Too Yummy! Call for Entries

Call for Entries: Too Yummy!

You are invited to submit your artwork for Too Yummy! - a three-day art show celebrating all things related to food & drink. Too Yummy! is the second installment of this fun-filled food-themed event, which will raise funds for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.

Too Yummy! is brought to you by the Couchfire Collective and will be on view at the Ohio Art League Gallery in the South Campus Gateway from July 30 - August 1, 2010, with a reception on Saturday, July 31 from 6-9 pm. The opening reception will also coincide with all sorts of Arts in the Alley fun.

This year's show is juried, so if you plan on submitting an idea for a piece you have not yet created, please make sure you provide a website, flickr/artist on the form below so we can see examples of your work. Because of space constraints in the gallery, we ask artists to limit their submission to one piece, and the size of their piece to 3 feet and smaller.
